Since developing my first management training program in the telecom industry in 1993, my practice has been rooted in the principle of mindset over skillset and that each business is a micro-society and must be treated as such and that the majority of organizational challenges in business today are actually social challenges, inherited into the culture of the business from the fabric of modern society.
My life is a reflection of my philosophy that wisdom comes from experiencing people and organizations in every possible permutation, through both wins and losses. Outside of my decades-long consulting practice, I've built brands that have failed and succeeded; I've published an award-winning book that brought me through the doors of some of the many successful entrepreneurial companies across the nation; I've been a mentor and sponsor for men's support groups; recorded, performed, and toured with dozens of live musical performances with charted artists and gold and platinum record producers; served on boards and volunteer committees; and been a devoted father to two children that I hope to give as rich and rewarding a life as I have been privileged to live.
